Message	before. There's also a valve on the heater core that may not be opening. For starters you could unhook the hoses going to the heater core and see if you can flush water through it with a garden hose. Should turn the heater on first. You can get a glimpse of the mix door by removing the stereo and putting the car on defrost mode I believe. Look down the vent above where the radio would be.
